Honor points and marks reset in WotLK

Honor points and marks reset in WotLK We all had an inkling this was coming, right? I mean, it is Blizzard and they do things that are occasionally “evil.” So it should be no surprise to anyone that Eyonix announced today that they will be resetting all the honor points when Wrath of the Lich King is released. In his post he does mention that they will be putting in a few new items that are purchasable with honor points only. At least those that have piles of points saved up can get something. Let’s just hope that it’s something you can use. They will be appearing on the PTR shortly. The reasoning behind this is that Blizzard wants there to be an even playing field when everyone hits 80. If people saved up tons of honor points and marks, they could be used to immediately purchase the newest PvP gear. That would create an imbalance. Blizzard has further clarified that marks will be reset as well. A few helpful commenters have also pointed out a blue post back from back in August that tells us arena points will be set to zero once you progress beyond level

Around Azeroth: Jump in the line

Around Azeroth: Jump in the line   We all knew that druids often cooperate cross-faction, but hunters? This multicultural line of hunters was witnessed by Lohrr of The Venture Company on the latest PTR, after beast mastery hunters gained the 51-point-talent ability to tame exotic pets. Among the most popular pets was the core hound, and the unique skin of the Kurken in the draenei starting area lured many hunters to Azuremyst Isle. Plus, who wants to go back to Molten Core? Instead of fighting for the tame, the hunters apparently made a line and helped each other out, frost trapping and /cheering after a successful attempt. If only the queue had been that orderly back when I was attempting to get the Core Hound Tooth! Do you have any unusual World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder? We’d love to see it on Around Azeroth! Sharing your screenshot is as simple as e-mailing  with a copy of your shot and a brief explanation of the scene. You could be featured here next! The Man, The Myth, the Legend.

The Man, The Myth, the Legend. How Stalvan deserves the dark powers and the legend he’s gained are honestly unclear to me. Make no mistake, what he did was rather heinous. He killed at least 5 people, possibly more if he killed the Flintridges’ other servants or any bystanders. But was the crime itself so bloody and gruesome that it attracted the necromantic energies and damned spirits that flock to Stalvan’s old haunts and protect his past? There’s two theories I can think of as to why this is so. The first is that he lives in Duskwood. Duskwood is a place that is currently in the grip of a powerful darkness. It seems a magnet to dark forces and misfortune. It may be that the darkness gripping Duskwood or the demonic power radiating from nearby Karazhan somehow latched on to Stalvan’s insanity and negative emotions and manifested all these powers and turned him undead. The other possibility is that he’s always been a Necromancer. Perhaps the mysterious headmaster Crillian was a Necromancer or a Warlock. This would also match up with the
